Now that school has come to a conclusion, and the kids are back at home, you’re probably wondering how on Earth you’ll be able to keep them occupied the next 3 months. The good news is that we have a list of a few activities you and your family can enjoy this month.
Have a craft day
Visit your local craft store and pick up a few exciting crafts for you and your family to complete at home. There are tons of inexpensive craft ideas linked here.
Make a slip and slide
Now that the weather is much warmer, playing outside can sometimes be unbearable in the heat. Create your own DIY slip and slide in your backyard and cool off from the hot summer heat.
Make a lemonade stand
Now that most are spending their days outside, a lemonade stand could be a fun way to get involved in your community and keep your neighbors refreshed in the May heat. Get together with some friends and make a delicious pitcher of lemonade and decorate signs advertising the stand.
If you don’t own a bike of your own, there are plenty of local places you could visit to rent one for the day. Get outside with your friends and family and cruise around your area. This can be a great way to stay active while also having fun.
We hope that a few of these fun ideas can help you to enjoy your summer break to the fullest.
