Sharity Spectrum was designed for primarily healthy individuals and families who are looking for peace of mind; the program level offers health care sharing that, with monthly contributions, includes an unlimited number of doctor visits and offers sharing eligibility for a wide array of medical services, such as preventive, primary, maternity, specialty, emergency, surgical, urgent, ambulance, inpatient and outpatient care.
What Does Sharity Spectrum Include?
Sharity Spectrum provides sharing eligibility for a full spectrum of medical expenses, including:
- Wellness & preventive
- Primary care
- Urgent care
- Specialty care
- Maternity care
- Emergency room (Per incident member-to-member sharing limit = $20,000)
Though this is a robust program level, there are limitations and exclusions to the services offered with each of the Sharity solutions; therefore, it’s important that members understand the advantages and disadvantages of the programs they choose.
How Sharity Spectrum Works
With the Sharity Spectrum program level, monthly contributions are reasonably low considering the full spectrum of services eligible for sharing, allowing members to set money aside to help pay for their $3,000 Member Shared Responsibility Amount (MSRA) if needed. The MSRA reflects the amount of personal responsibility and stewardship members are expected to demonstrate per program year; this is the amount a member must pay before asking others in the program to share in the cost of medical expenses. Once the MSRA is reached, members share a portion of all services eligible for sharing until the annual sharing limit of $300,000 or lifetime sharing limit of $600,000 is met.
